Summary

Our Nestl茅 Purina Child Development Center location is looking for multiple Lead Toddler teachers. We are seeking a nurturing, experienced Lead Teacher who brings energy and creativity to work every day to join the Nestl茅 Purina Child Development Center team. You鈥檒l bring your expertise and design lesson plans based on Project Construct in a play-based curriculum, while interacting with children and families. Come prepared to implement family-style dining and help promote a safe environment where children can be happy and active learners. Responsibilities

鈥 Work with children in a one-on-one and group setting through meaningful, hands-on learning activities
鈥 Prepare and design weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and differentiated for all skill levels and student interests
鈥 Design and execute math, literacy, and science learning activities that allow students the opportunity to communicate orally and in writing
鈥 Use daily mealtimes with the class as a method to incorporate learning and social skills
鈥 Build schedules and routines for the students
鈥 Strategically plan the curriculum to target areas related to child development such as social, motor, and language skills
鈥 Proactively communicate expectations, criteria for assessment, student progress, and students鈥 strengths and opportunities to parents and students
鈥 Promote and model a positive and respectful learning environment that focuses on positive redirection
鈥 Establish trust and bond with the children and families in which you will serve
鈥 Maintain a safe and healthy classroom by following all center health and safety guidelines and rules
鈥 Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and ethics

Requirements

鈥 High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 of the following:
鈥 Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field
鈥 CDA Certification
鈥 2+ years of experience working in early childhood
